Tank Rally missions

Tank Rally missions

Postby Spack » Sat Oct 11, 2014 4:54 pm

Took me a while as I'd only played a few tank rally games up till today, but knuckled down and completed the 50 wins and 1000 cap points. What surprised me the most was the number of players, including ones with over 15k games, who didn't know what autoaim was!

Now back to the usual frustration of random battles and trying to grind the IS-3 I finally unlocked and bought today.

There's an auto aim?

Really? I hope that's sarcasm.

Autoaim is in the tutorial. Right click a tank to lock on, right click again to disengage. Turret automatically rotates to centre on target tank. No real use in proper games unless you're using something like a Pz I C with it's high fire rate and you're driving around avoiding fire. In most games it's best not to use it as you need to be aiming for weak points, but it has it uses in low tier games and definitely needed in the tank rally.

Ah. I remember seeing that now - I just never had cause to use it. Only tried tank rally a couple of times - fun, but like driving on ice at times!

Apparently if you put a driver with 50% in, you won't slide, but won;t lose any speed either...

Cheers Soccaddict - I'll give that a go.
