I have a pretty much complete box set of the original with some extra metal figures that I would part with.

For metallic sprays, Hammerite ones are great, they have a nice tooth to grip paint if painting over and washing. The 10 Space Marines in my painting thread were done that way.

It is a satin varnish, they are much less shiny in real life than the camera is making them.

Light blue is good, you can buy an a2 sheet of coloured paper for pennies in smiffs or any art shop.

I am just plodding away at the lead pile, so far this year painted is 6 dwarfs (3 LOTR and 3 Roman ones) 2 High Elfs and 4 Pikemen, just need basing and flocking to count as finished.

They really are, they are the 1672 range from North Star, originally done by Mark Copplestone as Age of the Sun King.

They are clean, neat sculpts that are a joy to paint and look wonderful when finished. I have 4 more almost done.

Blood Angels are the easy choice, assemble, red undercoat, red spray, red ink, done...

Lined up they look like the evolution of the same creature as it matures.
