I haven't gone to the lengths of damage and weathering I do on my BA. I don't want to go that far if I do more Guard. I also used metalics, as aposed to NMM that I use on my BA. (Wanted something simpler)

Comments an Crits welcome :)

Finished MidWar Mixed Tankovy Batalon

by DaBoss on Fri Sep 16, 2011 1:30 pm
Forgot to take my camera to Newbury Colours
So finally got round to taking some photo's of the painted army. People were surprised at how good the Zvezda models looked on table.
Really worked well when just taking the one manufacturer and not mixing with Battlefront which seem to be a good 1mm bigger in all dimensions.

Eldar 12/08/13 Farseer and Ranger Squad.

by Cain Tiberius on Tue Aug 13, 2013 11:31 pm
When I said I was interested in the new Eldar, I was given some figures. A Farseer (metal) 3 Warlocks (metal, but not going to use them). A box of plastic Dire Avengers (10 in a box! not 5 like the new sets). Some plastic guardians (not using as they've been butchered with glue) and a built plastic Falcon ( bit messy, but workable).

This week I've been painting up the Farseer and the Ranger squad. I trimmed the fin off the back of the Farseer's Helm. I think they look better without.

Model Railway Christmas Tree

by Spack on Sat Nov 24, 2012 10:12 pm
Today we put up the Christmas decorations in the house. After a while I had this odd thought creep into my head: "why not have LEDs on a tree on the railway?". A short time later and I had 5 LEDs plus some resistors soldered together and wrapped round a small conifer on the railway layout near the station entrance.
